You do know that Clinton actually cut the top tier taxes around 96 or so down to 17% from what had been 28%. Bush only lowered them 2 more percent to 15% tax rate if I am not mistaken.
Why is it that people think that Obama's tax plans are going to destroy small business? It won't. Let me explain.
Reagan raised taxes six times after he cut them because the deficit and debt was so large. Six times, and he raised them at the top. Then George Bush, the first George Bush, raised them at the top on the wealthy people. Then Clinton raised them on the top again. We wound up with the four best-market years in history. Eight years of growth. Then George W comes along and with 8 years of tax cuts on the wealthy, and yes 8 years of tax cuts on businesses and what do we have...an unstable economy.
So your suggesting that because Obama is going away from Bush's tax cuts and going back closer to the tax policies of Reagan/1st Bush/Clinton that somehow small business is going to tank? Bush's tax cuts have been irresponsible and have left us in a mess and you think that John McCain won't be any different from that? It's the same tax plan, irresponsible. Ronald Reagan knew enough to raise taxes even though he wanted to keep them low, and so did the first Bush.

the unstable economy wasnt the result of tax cuts........it was the result of the end of the glass stegall act and the changes to the community reinvestment act
all bushs cuts were.......were the reversing of clinton tax increases to the top 1%
